Archaeological excavation at Bracetown 1 was undertaken by ACS Ltd in August 2005 and is now complete. Post-excavation analysis is also complete.
The truncated remains of a burnt stone spread was identified at Bracetown 1. Four small shallow depressions were identified below the spread. No trough was located and no associated finds were recovered. The spread was located within the flood plain of the Tolka river and was partially sealed by alluvial deposits.
