Preliminary Results of Excavation
Archaeological excavation at Quarryland was undertaken by ACS Ltd in March 2006. Post-excavation analysis is ongoing.
One archaeological feature, a pit, was fully excavated and recorded during testing in 2004. A 20m x 20m area surrounding the location of the pit was stripped of soil and fully investigated. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered.
