| Clowanstown 2 | 2-12 | Pits and small burnt spreads | Burnt mound | Bronze Age |
Four burnt spreads, six pits, a sub-circular hearth and a shallow field ditch. A hollow-based chert arrowhead and core, as well as flint debris, appear to demonstrate flint / chert working on site in the late Neolithic period, although this may not be related to the hearth. A further three shallow pits were identified and these appear to have been used for flint knapping. Two concave and one convex scrapers were recorded in this location. Post excavation is now complete.
